Catching Up & BIG Annoucements!

3/31/2014

I know that I haven't been as active the last couple of weeks on the blog as I have before but there has been A LOT going on our household.  There's good, great and bad so I'll start with the bad because good and great always outweigh the bad.

About 2 weeks ago I had a biopsy done.  There was a lump in my right breast and while I truly believed it was nothing it has turned out to be a kind of in the middle issue.  Technically the lump is a benign tumor, so that's the good news.  The iffy news is that it's sitting on my milk glands.  Hence why I haven't been able to breastfeed in my previous pregnancies/births.  While it is benign it does pose some issues that if I were to get pregnant again.  I can't have it removed right now (or I chose not to) because I wouldn't be able to pick the girls up for a bit and well that's what I do at least 30 times a day being a SAHM.  Having the tumor removed just isn't an option for our lifestyle right now.  While the situation is scary we are dealing with it and taking it a day at a time.  I will be monitored over the coming months for any changes but we are hopeful that nothing more will come of it.  When the time is right for our family I will most likely have it removed but for now we are aware of it and taking all the precautions and getting all the knowledge we can on it.

Now, some good news.  Hubby got his own admin at work and that means easier hours for him.  Fingers crossed!  It's been hard him not being around but maybe an hour to hour and a half at nights but if he can get his admin up and running we will have much more time with him!  Also, we spent last weekend celebrating my blogiversary and having a little family trip to Chinoteague Island.  My in-laws have a friend with a house on the island and even though it was for a night it was nice to get away.  We went to visit some light houses, saw wild ponies and walked on the beach.  The weather wasn't the best but seeing the girls having so much fun was worth it for both of us.

As for my blogiversary I'm incredible happy that I've made it to one year of blogging!  I can't believe how much RHOCC has grown.  In addition, the amazing friendships and opportunities I've received through blogging have been amazing.  Some of the friendships I've forged have made me wish that they lived closer because they really have become so close to me!

Finally, the GREAT news!  Last week hubby and I found out that we are expecting Baby #3!  I'm about 7 weeks along (which is still really early) but we can never keep our mouths shut when it comes to our kids so we decided to go ahead and share it!  We are very excited as well are the girls.  They are really happy to be BIG(GER) sisters.  Right now the sides are set 50/50 for a boy or girl.  I feel pretty sure it's a boy but hubby is convinced it's a girl.  We will find out probably late May/early June.  Of course this means lots more baby related and pregnancy related posts on my blog but I'm excited about it!

As always, I started this blog to share our life, our family and our journey with my readers and I can't wait to continue to do that!  I'm thankful for each one of you and I will be back in full swing of things just as soon as I get over this cold I'm trying to avoid.  Thank you so much for your support, your friendship and your love!  You'll never know how much it means to me!
