Review & GIVEAWAY: Bookworm Bundle!!

1/12/2014

Disclaimer:  I was sent the products in this post for review.  I was not paid for this post and all opinions are my own.

I am SO happy to be doing this review!  One of the reasons I do reviews is not only to bring my readers some pretty cool stuff but to also share the newest ventures out there!  I was thrilled with my friend Amber from ABC's to ACT's contacted me and told me she was creating this product!  We've all heard of "subscription boxes" but they are usually related to food or beauty, rarely towards our children and their growing minds.  Amber and her husband have created the newest (and best in my opinion) educational subscription box for toddlers...introducing BOOKWORM BUNDLE!!

Bookworm Bundle is a monthly subscription box service for children ages 2-5 that pairs classic and well known children’s books with 3 – 4 crafts and activities based on the book’s theme.  These boxes are NOT one size fits all, they are tailored to your child’s age group. Each month they send out 4 separate boxes, one for each of the ages covered (children above and below these age groups are still welcome to join and will receive the box that is closest to their age and ability level). Bookworm Bundle understands that children of different ages are at different developmental stages and do not have the same abilities, therefore, your 2 year will not receive the same book and box as a 5 year old and vice versa.
Signing up is easy! Visit their website to choose between these monthly subscription options:
  • Month-to-Month - $29.00 per month + Free Shipping
  • 3 Month Subscription - $84.00 + Free Shipping (Save $15.00)
  • 6 Month Subscription - $162.00 + Free Shipping (Save $36.00)
  • 12 Month Subscription - $300.00 + Free Shipping (Save $96.00)

The cut-off date for sign-ups is the 1st of the month. Boxes will ship between the 15th and
17th of every month. Therefore, if you sign up on February 1st, your first box will ship
between the 15th and the 17th of February. If you sign up after February 1st, your first box
will ship between the 15th and 17th of March.
Children build their imaginations while learning to express themselves creatively. Bookworm Bundle's mission is to instill in your child a love of reading that will stick with them throughout the rest of their lives.  As parents Amber and her husband understand how busy life can be. With long days and hectic schedules, no one wants to spend their free time running all over town looking for craft supplies. That’s why they take care of all of that for you! Each month, your child will receive a new storybook as well as all of the materials needed for 3 – 4 crafts and activities based on the book’s theme. Everything you need, all in one box, delivered right to your door!
I was so thrilled that Hannah got to be a tester for Amber and Bookworm Bundle! I was really excited to see if she would love it.  Hannah loves arts and crafts about as much as she loves books!  You can see in the pictures she was so excited to open the box and see all the goodies inside!  The book that Hannah got was "Gosie" it's about a small yellow duck who likes to wear bright red boots!  To go with her book Hannah received 4 activities!  They range from a memory card boot game to painting a ceramic boot to creating her own rain cloud and yellow duck!  I can tell that Amber and her team put a lot of work into this box.  There isn't a single thing I need to get...they even included scissors!
My mother-in-law is also a retired Early Childhood Education Teacher and she was swooning over this box!  She was so happy that something like this was on the market and is going to tell all her teacher friends about it!  How can you not endorse something this awesome, especially when someone whose career was to do this work loves it too!
The best part of all of this...the review, the box, the wonderful arts and crafts is that Bookworm Bundle is going to be giving one of YOU (yes, you and your toddler) their own free box!  Enter down below to win your own customized (to your toddlers age group) Bookworm Bundle box!  I highly support this new subscription box and I hope you will too!
