Review: yourMinerals Makeup!

12/10/2013

Disclaimer: The products within this post were sent to me for review.  All opinions are my own.

To be honest I've never really had much luck with mineral based makeup.  I did try Bare Minerals years ago but their concealer in Summer Bisque is about the only thing I ever liked.  When yourMinerals asked me to try out some of their products I was excited to see if my opinions on mineral makeup had changed and they have!

Created by Jennifer and Camilla Dorvall, yourMinerals is manufactured in Sweden and is free of all oils, alcohol and irratating skin ingredients.  Each product uses only pure minerals to help increase the appearance and enhancement of your skin.
I received two eye shadows in the shades in Lavender Pearl and Brown Hypnotic, both with strong purple undertones.  I believe both of these are wonderful colors to compliment my brown eyes.  Brown Hypnotic could even be used with the right base to make a beautiful natural smokey eye.
I also received a highlighter in Sun Sparkle.  This is a yellow based and warm highlighter more on the gold side.  You could also dust this with a larger brush all over your arms and chest for a nice glow.
Finally, the two blushes I received are probably my favorite.  Rose Hip is a much more natural everyday wear for me.  It brings just enough flush to the cheeks without being overwhelming.  Happy Rose is gorgeous with it's purple undertones and more of a shimmer to it.   This rouge will definitely bring a brightness to your face.

Along with the makeup yourMinerals did send me one of their travel friendly foundation brushes.  This will be great for applying the blushes they sent me.  The brush is dense but still fluffy and soft enough to move the product around and get the perfect coverage.

All in all I am impressed with yourMinerals and I'm extremely happy that they are willing to provide my readers with 25% OFF their purchases when you use the code RHOCC25!  So get to shopping and enjoy the discount!!
