Liebster Award

Linda of Baby in Bloom recently nominated Mrs.Chevalley for a Liebster Award. Thanks for the nomination! For those
of you that don’t know the Liebster award is a social media award to get
people to check out lots of great newer blogs. The Liester Blog Award is
an award given to bloggers with less than 200 followers in order to show your
appreciation for them and to help them gain more readers.
In order for me to accept my
nomination, I have to do the following things:
- Link back to the blog that nominated me
- Nominate 5-11 blogs that have less than 200 followers
- Answer all questions posted by the nominator
- Share 11 random facts about myself
- Create 11 questions for my nominees
- Contact my nominees and let them know I nominated them
Now here are the questions I need to
answer:
1. Why did
you start blogging? – I started originally when I had my first daughter Hannah,
however being a new mom I couldn’t keep up with it. Now that we have 2 and there’s a more frequent
nap schedule it’s slightly easier to keep up with.
2. What is
your favorite thing to do in your spare time and why? – This is going to sound
bad but, get away. I enjoy going to
Target, Wal-Mart, getting my nails done, anything. Being a SAHM I realized how important for my
sanity it is to get out of the house at least twice a week, even if it’s just
to the grocery store.
3. What has
been something challenging you have had to overcome in your life? – Depression
and Anxiety. I’ve had them both most of
my life but they definitely got amplified more when I had kids so I have to
watch myself. I can take criticism
harshly and hate on myself too.
4. What is
your biggest pet peeve? – When I clean the house and somehow magically someone
leaves a dirty diaper or a sock or something around. Drives me nuts that I spent that time
cleaning and still no one notices enough to help pick up behind themselves.
5. If you
could be a famous person, who would you be and why? – Marilyn Monroe. I mean who wouldn’t? She was a real star but
she also had issues like any other person.
6. What food
do you never get tired of? – Tex-Mex…I could eat Don Pablo’s fajitas every day
and never get sick of it.
7. What is
your biggest accomplishment? – That’s a tie between my 2 girls…being their
mommy is amazing, it’s tiring a lot of days but watching them grow and become
these little people is definitely my biggest accomplishment.
8. If you
could change something about yourself, what it be and why? – That I’m really
hard on myself and if anyone has anything negative to say about me I can tend
to flip out and take it overboard.
9. If you
could live in another country for one year, where would it be? – Probably
Australia, mostly because it’s so like the U.S. but the scenery is gorgeous and
I love the accent J
10. What is a
product that you can’t live without? – Probably my cell phone, it keeps me
tapped into the world that I don’t really get into much. As a mom you do lose touch with friends and
family so things like Facebook and Twitter all help keep that possible.
11. If you
could go back to school for something, what would it be? – Probably just to go
back and get my General Studies, I’m happy I graduated High School but some
days I think I should have just stuck it out with college.
Now here are 11 random facts about me:
1. In one year I became a mom and a
wife.
2. My husband and I eloped in Vegas because a big wedding wasn’t working for us.
3. I used to ride a motorcycle (Kawasaki Ninja 636).
4. I was an equestrian rider until 17 when I hurt my arm.
5. I met my husband on Craigslist.
6. I’m addicted to YouTube beauty guru videos.

11. No matter how hard I try there is always a random dead French Fry in our Jeep somewhere.
