I stumbled into Charming Charlie (literally) and found some awesome accessories and I'm so excited to share them with you!
Over the past 2 weeks I've hit up Target, CVS and Charming Charlie for everything from beauty products to clothing and accessories! Check out what I got in my newest haul video!
Disclaimer: The products in this post were sent to me for review. I was not paid for this review and all opinions are my own.
I've been on a jewelry kick recently and more for necklaces than anything else. Even if Savannah pulls on them I've just been loving necklaces with chunky sweaters! Being a mommy on a budget also doesn't allow me a lot to spend on jewelry so when I got offered to try some from 599Fashion.com I jumped on it! I mean come on, these necklaces are super cute, only $1.99 each AND come with matching earrings? WHAT! How awesome is that!
So I went to Old Navy yesterday, with every intention of buying something for me and of course I walked out with yoga pants and flip flops for me and a wardrobe for the girls (well not really) but I definitely found some cute stuff for them.
For Hannah I've been obsessed with getting her Hello Kitty for some reason, even though she's totally on an Elmo kick. Hannah picked out this Elmo t-shirt all by herself with the saying "Elmo Loves Me", totally adorable. I also grabbed this cute Hello Kitty t-shirt with a red, white and blue theme to it, she's definitely going to be sporting this at our upcoming Memorial Day BBQ. Finally, for Fourth of July, how freaking cute is this blue dress with stars and Hello Kitty on it? I mean it's to die for and she can totally wear it all summer but for the 4th it's just perfect!
The next thing that I found were these 2 rompers with a geometric print on them, one in orange and one in blue. I've been having issues with Hannah keeping her diaper on recently, she will take her pants off and she's figured out the zip up pajamas and EVEN has worked the buttons on the onesies I was using to keep her at bay. I'm putting my faith in these rompers that she won't be able to escape out of her diaper since it's all one piece and a little more tricky. Plus, they are great for the warmer weather, and what mom doesn't want a one piece? I might go back and get more or order more online to have as back ups for spills or accidents in the car and in the diaper bag.
Finally, for both the girls they really needed a bathing suit for the summer. Last summer Hannah was almost 1 so obviously her old swimsuit won't work and it won't work for Savannah either so I actually ended up getting them both new swim wear for the summer. Hopefully we can get one of those plastic wade pools from Wal-Mart, although we do plan on going to the pool quite a bit as well. For Hannah I found this super cute pink with white stripe suit with a blue trim. It does that criss-cross thing in the back so she won't be able to take it off (noticing a theme here?). Savannah I of course had to get the most girly thing out there, this pink and white polka dot suit with a tutu and flower attached work amazing with these matching sandals (and additional clear jellies as a back up). I can't wait to get the girls out in the pool this summer and show off their absolute cuteness :)
The kids/baby section was having a 30% off sale until the 22nd so I'm
glad I stopped in when I did. I feel like I got some cute things and I
mean Savannah's swimsuit alone is reason enough to validate this
shopping spree :) hope you guys enjoyed and will get out there and grab
some cute things for your kiddos!
I realize I just did a small haul but I needed some new things from CVS and even some replacement things for stuff I used to have. Here's a picture of what I got from CVS...
I picked up some Ardell lashes for my BIL's upcoming wedding as well as DUO lash glue for them in the "dark" color glue. Anew hair color, John Frieda 3VR, a reddish/mahogany color which I'm loving! A new Simple Skincare Foaming Face Cleanser, Physicians Formula Happy Booster in Rose, Nivea Lip Butter in Berry Rose, a Turbie Twist towel for my hair (finally!!), a repurchased EOS lip balm in Summer Fruit, some nail polish remover, new hair brush by ConAir, Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold, Revlon lip gloss in Summer Peach and a lipstik in a matching coral/peach color and lastly some Degree deodorant, you know just the basics!
That's everything!

I had to run out to the store super fast for some small things last night and randomly found myself in the beauty area. Actually, I really did need a new lotion so that was the only thing on the "list" I needed but I picked up a couple other little items. Here they are:
1. Jergens Body Lotion - this is for dry skin which mine desperately is. I have been using the girls baby lotion but that only works for so long and I need it for them so I can't use it all up. I've used this brand before but never this specific formula so I hope it works and isn't too greasy! It was like $6.49 at the store so at least I won't feel like I'm wasting $ if it doesn't give results I want and I can use it on the kids.
2. Pure Silk Shave Lotion in Raspberry Mist - Now I love anything berry flavored or smelling so this should be good and it's by the ever popular for me Barbasol brand so it should get the job done. It was like $2.94 at the store so they it's a good price too.
3. Clean and Clear Daily Moisturizer, Oil-Free - I needed a face moisturizer for the day and since I use Clean and Clear face wash in the morning I figured I'd give it a shot for their lotion. I think this was between $6-$7...I'd have to check the receipt.
4/5. Dove soap and Dental Floss Sticks - These are just every day items for me, I love Dove and these dental floss sticks make flossing a whole lot easier!
So that's everything! Easy & Breezy! I'll decide how I like the 2 lotions I got and update later about them :)
